We use NIR (Near infrared) & Red lights in all Red-Light Therapy panels. NIR light is virtually invisible to human eyes. So, when only NIR lights are on, those LEDs will appear not to be working or be very dim due to the fact that infrared light is almost invisible. It is normal for the NIR LEDs to appear in this manner.

Yes! You may choose to use each light independently, but we recommend turning on both during treatment for maximized benefits. Red and NIR light are both in the natural light spectrum and have been clinically proven to enhance cellular function. The main differences are that Red Light at 660 nm is readily absorbed by skin tissue, leading to improved skin health and collagen production. NIR light at 850 nm penetrates deeper into tissue, leading to benefits such as increased muscle recovery and reduced inflammation.

For the most benefits, including deep tissue treatment, we recommend 10 to 20 minute sessions for each desired treatment area at a distance of approximately 6"-18" inches from the device with a maximum of two to three treatment areas per day. Make sure the area of your body you are treating is fully exposed to the light and not covered by any fabric or clothing.

It varies by person and how consistent you are with treatments. Many users report acute energy and cognitive benefits with each use. Many see benefits like reduced inflammation and muscle soreness in a matter of days or weeks. More full-body health benefits like skin health, fat loss, and other long-term improvements may take up to 2-3 months of consistent use.

For the best results, use light therapy every day, or at least five times per week. Consistency is crucial for effective light therapy. The more regularly you use light therapy, the better your results will be.

No. Eye protection isn't necessary, but we don't recommend looking directly into the LEDs as it can be uncomfortable. For this reason, we include a pair of sunglasses in each package for your comfort.
