We use NIR (Near infrared) & Red lights in all Red-Light Therapy panels. NIR light is virtually invisible to human eyes. So, when only NIR lights are on, those LEDs will appear not to be working or be very dim due to the fact that infrared light is almost invisible. It is normal for the NIR LEDs to appear in this manner.
Yes! You may choose to use each light independently, but we recommend turning on both during treatment for maximized benefits. Red and NIR light are both in the natural light spectrum and have been clinically proven to enhance cellular function. The main differences are that Red Light at 660 nm is readily absorbed by skin tissue, leading to improved skin health and collagen production. NIR light at 850 nm penetrates deeper into tissue, leading to benefits such as increased muscle recovery and reduced inflammation.
More doesn't always mean better! Treatments longer than 20 minutes won't necessarily lead to greater benefits because your cells can only absorb so much light each day. We suggest 10-20 minute treatments per targeted area, for up to 2 to 3 times per day for the best results. For instance, you may use your Orion for 20 minutes on your shoulders, followed by another 20 minutes on your knees.
It varies by person and how consistent you are with treatments. Many users report acute energy and cognitive benefits with each use. Many see benefits like reduced inflammation and muscle soreness in a matter of days or weeks. More full-body health benefits like skin health, fat loss, and other long-term improvements may take up to 2-3 months of consistent use.
For the best results, use light therapy every day, or at least five times per week. Consistency is crucial for effective light therapy. The more regularly you use light therapy, the better your results will be.
All EXESAS panels have zero EMF.
No. Our eyes are very dense with mitochondria and they benefit just the same as the rest of the cells of the body do with red light therapy. Eye protection isn't necessary, but we don't recommend looking directly into the LEDs as it can be uncomfortable. For this reason, we include a pair of sunglasses in each package for your comfort.
